DISCOVERY OF THE PARK AND GARDENS
Upon arrival, you will admire the elegant façade of the main entrance and its famous horseshoe staircase, the emblem of Fontainebleau. It is from the main courtyard that we will begin our visit to the park of the Castle.
Spread over 130 hectares, it is spread around four main courtyards and in the heart of three historic gardens, including the largest parterre in Europe (11 hectares), the work of André Le Nôtre.
You will discover the English Garden, planted with rare species and punctuated with statues, the Garden of Diana and the legend surrounding the waters of its fountain. It will take you to the Carp Pond Pavilion, where you can admire century-old carps!
