Visit of Château du Clos Lucé or Royal Château of Amboise
Owned by the Saint Bris family since 1854, the Château du Clos Lucé has regained its full Renaissance splendor after significant restoration work. The decorations plunge us into the intimacy of Leonardo da Vinci. This château saw the future King Francis I grow up. Imagine a palace perched on a promontory above the course of the Loire, and picture hanging gardens between sky and earth. The Château of Amboise was one of the favorite sites of the kings of France when they transformed their country during the Renaissance.
