The museum is located in a former Railway Station. It illustrates the challenges of the new painting developed in the 19th century : it breached the perceptions of the world, its representations, and the artist's status itself. You will discover the wonderful collection of Impressionist artists such as Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Pissaro, and many other tremendous painters and sculptors : Courbet, Corot, Millet, Gauguin, Van Gogh, Seurat, Signac, Cezanne, Rodin, Maillol... Your guide will know how to adapt to the age of your children and enrich his comments with historical anecdotes and fun. During your two-hour visit, you will walk through the different rooms with ease and contemplate the most interesting works at your own pace.
